Just seems a little crazy to look for clients on a gambling forum when
1. I'm sure most of these people are looking for another out and aren't the sharpest guys to begin with
2. college kids hit up these forums all the time you don't know them and they don't know you, tough crowd to deal with.
3. credit is tough enough to do local and your gonna explore it WWW
I could be way off base here but I would never look for my guys through the forums, to risky even though you could probably pick up a nice base I think the risks outweigh the good.

I just want to add a little more (I am not talking specifically about ParanoidAndroid). Of course the world is full of stiffs...Nothing new ask any veteran bookie.
Since all these poster turned amateur bookie situations that have popped up so has the number of stiffs increased along with them.
Give a total stranger you met on the internet a line of credit and let them bet into it and I guarantee if you book 10 guys you have never met except on the internet you will get stiffed or if your lucky very slowly paid by at least half of them sooner or later. Small wonder there is a long list of stiffs down in the Rubber Room.
Solid players like Steak Tartar and Bellyputter, the kind of guys that always pay would never get involved with some PM me later for the lines type of forum all of a sudden I'm a bookiemaker type from who knows where. Guys like that know who they are dealing with.
The same thing works the other way also, just because some poster you happen to exchange PMs or even phone calls with then all of a sudden he agreees to book your action doesn't mean you are going to get paid.
I know there are plenty of solid guys who post on these forums that can be trusted but they are unfortunately in the minority and because they are soild they already have situations in place where they know they will get paid if they win or if they are on the other side of the counter they know who they are dealing with (even these people have to deal with a stiff on rare occasions).
Thats all I wnted to say as I am basically repeating the warning above that I have posted dozens of times all over this forum.

yeah, i got stiffed from CW for contest they ran, they keep telling me check is in the mail, it's been over a month.
and i started playing at some forum through smooth talk sports, you pick 3 mlb underdogs and win a whopping 20 bucks if you go 3for3, i did it 4 times in about a week and a half, but they said i only won once cause if more than one person does it, it goes to the person with the biggest dog pick.
well i gave them my paypal and i'm still waiting. they delete my posts whenever i say something about, and there was a thread about contest winners there and they locked it.
I'm not hard up for the piddly amount, it's just the point of don't have a contest if you ain't going to pay.
